The London Dungeon

The London Dungeon is best known for its depiction of medieval torture and executions. Even adults have been known to scream when a frightening image lurks at you in the dark.
Among the different experiences is the exciting boat ride feature, Judgment Day, which casts the visitor in the role of the condemned. The spectacular Jack the Ripper experience is as chilling as ever, retracing the steps of the infamous London serial killer.

Madame Tussaud's is an absolute must for all visitors to London- children and adults alike.
The life-like wax models of many famous and infamous characters are a true wonder.
Visit The Chamber of Horrors - . A spooky reconstruction of one of the streets of London stalked by Jack the Ripper forms the centerpiece of the exhibition. One of his six victims - Catherine Eddowes - lies in a pool of blood. Other scenes show mass murderers including John Christie, Dr Crippen, John George Haigh, Gary Gilmore, and Charles Manson.
The theme ride, which cost ten million pounds to complete, uses robotics to bring characters to life, recreating the sights, sounds and even smells of over 400 years of London's history. Visitors climb into a 'Time Taxi' and are transported on a historical journey to join Shakespeare working on a play, Queen Elizabeth in her court, and even craftsmen working on St Paul's Cathedral. The atmosphere of the Blitz, the Swinging Sixties and present-day London are all portrayed in this exciting ride.
